Program/Team Specific Needs and Fundraising Support
One of the things that Royals Athletic Boosters provides is the infrastructure for specific programs and teams to fundraise and purchase items that are specific to their needs. Teams can participate in seasonal RAB fundraisers, find an exclusive business sponsor, and/or develop additional opportunities for fundraising. These funds can be used to help subsidize the costs of purchasing team meals, summer league fees, team bonding activities, equipment, or other activities not in the MVRSD budget.
Examples of items paid for through program-specific funds raised:
- TOP REQUEST - summer league or summer team camp fees
- away game meals
- team meals during the playoffs, homecoming, or awards night
- safety and other sport-specific equipment
- team bonding activities
- donations to charitable causes, such as the Dartmouth Cancer Center
- tournament registration fees not covered by the school district
- t-shirts for IRS teams
