Video Coverage of Mascoma Games
Even before the pandemic, RAB had started collaborating with NH sports livestreaming companies to help bring the opportunity for more Mascoma fans to cheer on their Royals even when they weren't at the game in real life.
But during the 2020-2021 school year, when there were restrictions on spectators, RAB stepped up to provide livestream coverage of home games for as many games as possible. Between Granite State Sports Network and the new video capacity at the high school, it wasn't quite the same as being there in person...but it was a way to stay connected to the action. It also assisted teams looking for video footage to review and prepare for their next contest, and helped players to have quality game footage for creating a highlight reel.
The fall 2020 discount card fundraiser, video sponsors (local businesses), and donations helped to fund the GSSN video coverage. We also ran a "Fans in the Stands" fundraiser before the winter sports season.
We will continue to work with the Mascoma School District and our broadcast partners to bring more video coverage of games as we move forward.
