2026 Mascoma New Years Shootout: January 10-11

Mascoma High School Basketball Players & Families

This year, we have a total of 17 teams in 4 divisions playing 26 games in 2 gyms over the double elimination weekend tournament!

The tournament is a RAB fundraiser for Mascoma Boys and Girls Basketball teams to help fund summer 2026 team training activities (summer league, team camp, etc) and other needs that come up this season. Popcorn sale earnings were minimal, so this tournament is really important. The community also routinely gives positive feedback on the high school teams giving back to the younger kids. RAB is happy to document your community service hours for college applications, scholarships, or other service or leadership organizations.
RAB is providing a shirt to the girls and boys teams as a thank you for their assistance. We have coordinated this with your coach or team parent.
Your time volunteering for a concessions or gym volunteer shift (ref, book, or scoreboard) at either IRS or the high school is appreciated! If the player cannot volunteer, a parent is welcome to fill in for them. If there is no time available for you that weekend, please sign up to bring donated food items to be sold at concessions.
Adult officials will be paid for each game that they ref at the end of the tournament. If you plan to volunteer and donate your stipend back to the high school team fundraiser, please let us know and we'll have you document for our records. Thank you!
HS players and adults who volunteer for at least 3 hours/3 games will also receive an additional thank you gift.
